Project Details

The Kingston Ridge development was designed as a large-scale residential subdivision for Lennar Corporation, one of the nation’s leading homebuilders. Covering approximately 150 acres, the project required full site preparation to transform undeveloped land into a build-ready community consisting of future home lots, internal roadways, and utility corridors.

Witech Excavating was selected as the earthwork contractor for its proven ability to manage complex grading operations and maintain schedule precision across large residential developments.

The project presented several logistical and environmental challenges common to large-scale residential sites, including soil balancing across rolling terrain and maintaining production while coordinating with multiple trades on site.

Witech’s approach focused on:

- Phased grading operations, allowing Lennar’s utility and paving contractors to mobilize early and maintain overall project momentum.
- GPS-integrated equipment, ensuring precise grade control and efficient material movement.
- On-site material optimization, reducing haul-off and import costs by balancing cut/fill quantities effectively.
- Continuous coordination with the owner’s project team to align construction schedules with development milestones.
