708-367-1250Working in the educational sector, Witech prepared a 50-acre site in Dyer, IN, for a new campus of a private school that was relocating from Illinois. Under CORE Construction Indiana and with engineer V3, they completed 155,000 CY of earthwork, foundation excavation, and 200,000 SY of fine grading, including specialty grading for the athletic fields: soccer, track and field, discus, shot put, long jump, baseball, softball, and tennis.
All fine grading for green spaces such as ponds and athletic fields is done with an LGP GPS Dozer. The complex project featured various intricate patterns for drainage swales and tight tolerances for athletic field grading and design.
Additional work included placing aggregate for the asphalt parking lot.
Over the past several years, we have enjoyed the relationship between Witech and CORE Construction, not only from a preconstruction and estimating role but also in best-in-class construction execution.
