Tom Witvoet

Tom Witvoet is president and co-owner of Witech Company Inc. Previously he worked for his father Pete and grandfather Boyd, who founded Witvoet Trucking in 1942. At age 13, Tom helped out in his family’s sandpit, then became a laborer, truck driver and heavy equipment operator. Then, in 2001, Tom, along with Darren Prince and Jeff Krygsheld, founded Witech Company Inc.

Initially, Tom had multiple roles beyond forming and running the corporation: estimating, operating and project management. As the company grew, and with the current excellent people in various positions, Tom devotes his time to presidential duties. In fact, the employees at Witech are the most valued part of the business. Tom believes that he is a steward of what God has given him, so giving back through mission organizations and the community is very important.

Tom graduated from Illiana Christian High School and attended Purdue Calumet and Prairie State College. Married for 35 years to his wife Lorri, he has three grown children and four grandchildren. Tom enjoys spending time with his family. He also likes driving old cars, riding motorcycles, camping and serving his Lord at Crete Church.
