Scott Reibel

Scott Reibel, general superintendent, brought his experience as a laborer doing layout for an excavating company to Witech in 2016 as a laborer. One of the biggest jobs he worked on for Witech was a brand-new IKEA distribution center in Joliet, for which he did layout and GPS for the foundation piers.

He does more than just dig pier footings, however. He has to read and interpret construction plans even before he conducts GPS surveying to mark a foundation’s location.

Having worked in construction since 1995, when he was just out of high school, Scott says he has always wanted to work in the industry and enjoys working outside and meeting new people.

While he doesn’t consider Witech a small company, he likes the fact that everyone knows one another. Already promoted to superintendent, Scott says his goal is to continue moving up the steps at Witech.

A sports fan, he coaches his three kids in basketball, baseball and softball.
