Matt Bultema

Matt's journey into heavy construction began right out of high school when he started working for a sewer and water company. Now at Witech, Matt's responsibilities include bidding jobs and flying the drone to help manage project sites.

What Matt enjoys most about his work is the variety – no two days are the same, and he's always doing something new. However, he finds that managing all the small details when creating CAD files can be challenging. Still, he takes pride in learning something new every day while being part of the Witech team.

One of Matt's most significant projects was Project Presto in New Carlisle. He believes his positive attitude is a key factor in his success on the job. His favorite piece of equipment? The excavator, because of its versatility and the range of tasks it can handle.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys hunting and fishing, activities that make him feel most like himself. Raised in Cedar Lake, Indiana, he credits his parents for teaching him the value of hard work and perseverance. His dad, in particular, has been a significant role model, inspiring Matt with his dedication and work ethic.

In his free time, Matt enjoys working out and spending time with friends. When it comes to dream destinations, Hawaii is at the top of his list.
