708-367-1250Awarded in May 2025, Witech quickly mobilized on the Lakes Park project and completed all mass grading by July 4th, moving over 400,000 cubic yards of material in just two and a half months. The team’s scope included 150,000 CY of topsoil excavation, 150,000 CY of site cut to fill, 40,000 CY of borrow to fill, 12,000 CY of topsoil respread, and 270,000 SY of fine grading. Precision was key, as Witech navigated numerous D-Factors to ensure each home site was properly balanced and ready for construction once the roads were paved. Phase 1 paving was completed before winter, with Phase 2 scheduled for spring completion. The project exceeded schedule expectations, earning recognition from Cachey Builders and DesignTek Engineering for Witech’s efficiency and attention to detail.
