Drew Kessler

Drew Kessler joined Local 150 in 2018 after graduating from college and has since built a strong career in heavy construction. At Witech, he manages day-to-day operations for site crews, coordinates with general and subcontractors, and steps in on equipment as needed.

Drew finds the most rewarding part of his work is seeing a project come together from start to finish—watching a site transform through the effort of the team. While scheduling and unpredictable weather can be challenging, he appreciates the trust Witech places in him to manage jobs independently, as well as the company’s commitment to modern equipment and technology.

One of the biggest projects Drew has contributed to is Project Presto. His strengths lie in communication and problem-solving, and his favorite piece of equipment is the dozer—for the satisfaction of putting the finishing touches on a job.

Originally from La Porte, Indiana, Drew credits his strong work ethic to his parents and looks up to his older brothers as role models. He believes the construction industry can attract the next generation by staying engaged with local communities and showing young people the career opportunities it offers.

Outside of work, Drew enjoys camping with his family, golfing, and spending time with his wife and their three dogs. If he could be anywhere in the winter, it would be relaxing in Florida—and ideally, moving dirt on a sunny job site.
